Achievements

We organize around 4 free sterilization campaigns for female dogs and cats every year.
The program has become permanent in the Saschiz commune, and our wish is to expand it regionally.
This year we have already surpassed 60 sterilized animals, and in total, in recent years, we have exceeded 1,000 through campaigns organized also in the communes of Bunești and Biertan.

Our interventions focus on sterilizations, but we also provide support for animal welfare through internal and external deworming, vaccinations, surgical interventions, food, and promoting responsible adoptions.

Our Mission and Values

Who we are

We are Marianne, Anca, and Charlie, a team of volunteers from Saschiz, Mureș County, actively involved in community projects and actions for the welfare of animals and the community in general.

Alongside us are other warm-hearted people from the community and beyond — and we hope our team will grow even more in the future!

Where we operate

We mainly operate in the Saschiz commune, but our goal is to expand regionally.
In 2021, we took the first step by organizing a free sterilization campaign in a neighboring locality, in partnership with local authorities.

Key partnerships

    • Asociația pentru Drepturile Animalelor Sighișoara

    • Pfoten im Blick e.V.

    • Refuge de Nargis

    • The Slow Cyclist

    • Asociația Vecinătatea Femeilor din Saschiz

    • Școala Generală Saschiz

One moving example is the “Christmas Truck” project, through which we offered gifts to over 200 children and people with disabilities in the community.

Future plans

We aim to maintain continuity in current projects and diversify activities through:

  • Organizing camps for children on themes such as:

    • Animal welfare, kennel modernization

    • Creative workshops

    • Dental and personal hygiene

  • Sports events/activities

  • Setting up a multifunctional sports hall

  • Developing partnerships with other rural NGOs to become a regional support in rural development and educational projects

In conclusion:

We are currently a small team with big ideas, dedicated to the future of our community and to animals in need of help.
